Landscape Architecture projects completed by RAM.
Clay County - Engineering Services for Improvements
to Moccasin Slough Property - Green Cove Springs,
FL
This project consists of professional engineering
services for the master planning, design, engineering,
permitting, and construction drawings for improvements
to the Moccasin Slough property located east of
Doctor's Lake and between US 17 and the St. Johns
River in Clay County on a 255-acre tract. The
improvements to the site include picnic area, gazebo
with benches, playground, trails (paved, boardwalk,
and fitness), parking, observation decks, wildlife
observation (raised) platforms, restrooms, and an
Environmental Education Center. The project will also
include ancillary facilities including stormwater
facilities, lighting, water, wastewater facilities,
and any other improvements that may be deemed
necessary.
St. Johns County - Engineering Services for the
Design of NW Regional Park - St. Johns County, FL
This project is for master planning, design,
engineering, permitting, and construction drawings for
the new NW Regional Park to be located south of
Greenbriar Road and west of Roberts Road in St. Johns
County on approximately 62 acres of land. The
facilities for the new park include a soccer complex,
a skateboard park, basketball courts, multi-use
trails, boardwalks, a playground, and a dog park. The
project will also include ancillary facilities
including parking, sidewalks, concession/restrooms,
bleachers, stormwater facilities, lighting, water, and
wastewater facilities.
North Jacksonville Baptist Church Project -
Jacksonville, FL
Through excellent working relationships with the City of Jacksonville and other community businesses,
RAM had the opportunity to provide NJBC with new, creative, and cost effective design solutions for landscape and mitigation plans. Solutions included tree mitigation, landscape, irrigation, hardscape, signage, and permitting assistance.
City of Jacksonville - Miscellaneous Park
Improvements - Jacksonville, FL

This project includes providing professional
engineering, architecture, landscape architecture,
planning, environmental assessment, geotechnical,
surveying, environmental permitting, and all other
services as may be needed by the City for
miscellaneous improvements to existing or new parks
located throughout Jacksonville. To date, plans for
five Parks have been developed. Typical improvements
include: lighting, landscaping, irrigation, signage,
sports courts, sports fields, boardwalks, skateboard
parks, restroom facilities, picnic pavilions, site
furniture, playscapes, parking, and retention ponds.

Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Group
15.0 Landscape Architectural Services - Jacksonville, FL
RAM
is well versed in FDOT landscape guidelines and
requirements relating to clear zones, sight line
requirements, vegetative management zones, setback
requirements, and FDOT landscape specifications.
Current projects include landscape enhancements and
mitigation plans for the I-295 / U.S.17 Interchange and
the I-295 / Blanding Boulevard Interchange located in
Jacksonville, Florida.
Timucuan National Preserve Multi-Use Touring
Route - Jacksonville, FL
This
project includes providing all engineering and
professional services needed for the design and
construction of the Timucuan National Preserve Bicycle
Touring Route.
Elements of the project included definition, route
alignment alternatives stake out, schematic design,
cost estimating, P.D.&E. report, and coordination for
15.2-mile “Joint Shared Use” facility; and
construction documents/permitting for 6.6-mile Phase I
portion (Little and Big Talbot Island State Parks).
The multi-use trail is 10 and 12-foot wide “off-road”
asphalt and will incorporate seven (7) existing bridge
crossings along the route. Also, approximately 20 parking
spaces and associated stormwater retention will be added to
the proposed bicycle touring route starting point within Kathryn
Abbey Hanna Park. The design process has required close coordination
with all four of the major stakeholders involved as part of the
Timucuan Trail Steering Committee: City of Jacksonville, Timucuan
Ecological and Historic Preserve, Florida State Park Service,
and the Florida Department of Transportation.
Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) - Landscape
Architecture Services - Jacksonville, FL
RAM is under contract with CCUA to provide
miscellaneous landscape and irrigation services on an
as-needed basis. Services may include tree mitigation,
landscape architecture, irrigation design,
environmental assessments, surveying, permitting, and
coordination with governing agencies. The Green Cove
Springs Waste Water Treatment Facility, a recently
completed project, required tree mitigation and
landscape and irrigation design.
County of Volusia - Engineering Services for the
Design of Multi-Use Trails - Deland, FL
RAM is under contract with the County of
Volusia to provide professional consulting services
for design, permitting, and construction
administration of multi-use trails and ancillary
facilities. Services include: Conducting public
meetings, engineering design, landscape and irrigation
design, bridge design, park design, trail head design,
and environmental permitting.
