Mocassin SloughThe Moccasin Slough property is a 255-acre tract located east of Doctor’s Lake and between US 17 and the St. Johns River in Clay County funded in part by a Florida Communities Trust (FCT) grant. The site is a unique wildlife habitat and includes important vegetative communities.  Park amenities include:

  • Gazebo with benches

  • Observation decks
  • Wildlife observation (raised) platforms
  • Trails (paved, boardwalk and fitness)
  • Trailhead for Black Creek Trail
