Timucuan National Preserve Trail
The proposed multi-use trail is a 10-foot wide “off-road” asphalt path incorporating seven existing bridge crossings along the 18.1 mile route from Kathryn Abbey Hannah Park north to Amelia Island State Park. Trail heads, innovative low-impact design (LID) parking areas, elevated board-walk, and extensive multi-agency permitting are important aspects to the trail.
Moccasin Slough Park
The Moccasin Slough property is a 255-acre tract located east of Doctor’s Lake and between US 17 and the St. Johns River in Clay County funded in part by a Florida Communities Trust (FCT) grant. The site is a unique wildlife habitat and includes important vegetative communities. Park amenities include:
Veteran’s District Park
Veteran’s District Park is a 54.0-acre regional park located west of County Road 223 in St. Johns County. The site is located within the Cunningham Creek drainage basin surrounded by jurisdictional wetlands with about 40 acres of developable land. Park amenities include:

Touchton Park is an 8.5-acre neighborhood park located on the north side of Touchton Road, just east of Belfort Road. The site has jurisdictional areas located on the southwest corner and east side of the property. Park amenities include:
Huffman Park
Huffman Park is a 10.0-acre community park located on the east side of Huffman Boulevard, north of Beach Boulevard. The site has a semi-open canopy with a relatively open understory. The “Sand Hill” community is the predominant ecosystem on the site with a small jurisdictional area located on the northeast corner of the property. Park amenities include:
Archie Dickinson Park
Archie Dickinson Park is a 10.0-acre community park located north of Atlantic Boulevard between Lee and Jackson Roads. The site has an open canopy with a relatively open understory. There is a small jurisdictional area located in the center of the property along the southwest boundary line. Park amenities include:
